These terms are an agreement between you and Oleksii Maksymov, FOP (sole proprietor), Odesa, Ukraine ("we") about the Cheeky Burrow game and website. By playing you accept them. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please read them with a parent, who accepts them for you.

1. The game

Cheeky Burrow is free to play. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the game on devices you own or control, for non-commercial entertainment. The app stores' own terms (Apple Media Services Terms, Google Play Terms of Service) also apply; for iOS, the standard Apple licensed-application terms apply where these terms don't say otherwise.

2. Purchases and virtual items

Optional purchases are sold through Apple or Google: one-time items (such as Remove Ads and Pip's Cozy Corner) and acorn packs, which add a fixed, stated number of acorns and are used up when spent. Their payment and refund policies apply.

Acorns, decor, hats, scarves, seeds and other virtual items have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money or transferred outside the game, and are a licence to use content in the game. Gifts sent to friends are preset game items and can't be bought for a friend with real money.

Nothing bought with real money has a random outcome; Lucky Baskets are earned in play and can't be bought. Purchases can be restored in Settings → Purchases → Restore purchases with the same store account.

Rewards for watching optional videos are granted right after the video.

If you live in the EU or UK: a purchase is delivered immediately, so by buying you ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery starts. Your statutory rights for faulty content are not affected.

3. Friends, visits, gifts and sleepovers

The friends features are for players 13 and over who have agreed to them, and are switched off in child mode. Add only people you know. Anyone with your friend code can send you a friend request, so share it with care; you can change your code and remove any friend at any time.

Friends can visit a read-only snapshot of your burrow and exchange only preset emotes, gifts and sleepovers. There is no chat and no free text. A hamster on a sleepover is a visual guest in your friend's burrow; it always comes back, and nothing is lost or taken.

Daily limits apply to emotes, gifts and sleepovers. We may limit or remove the friends features for an account that misuses them, for example with automated requests.

4. Fair play

Don't interfere with the service, our server or the ads, don't use modified versions of the game, and don't submit scores you didn't play. Every leaderboard run is replayed on our server, and we may remove scores that don't reproduce. Keep your link codes private: anyone with a valid code gets your burrow on their device.

5. Availability and changes

Your burrow plays offline and is saved on your device; cloud save, friends and leaderboards need a connection and are provided while the game exists. We may update, change or stop features, with reasonable notice for anything you paid for.

6. Content

All game content (art, music, sounds, code, puzzles, names, stories) belongs to us or our licensors. Real hamsters prefer quiet nights, fresh food and plenty of bedding — no tubes required.

7. Liability

The game is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country, or liability that can't be limited by law.

8. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Please contact us first — most problems are solved quickly: hello@cheekyburrow.app.
